Winter at Honeydew Farm: What We’re Making for the Holidays

Winter at Honeydew Farm brings a quieter rhythm to the fields, but inside the barn and workshop, the season is full of color, fragrance, and hands-on creativity. As the gardens rest beneath the cold, we shift our focus to building winter goods—pieces shaped by the harvests of summer and the textures of the season.

This is the time when dried blooms become wreaths, evergreens become centerpieces, and the farm takes on a new kind of life indoors. Here’s what we’re working on as we head into the holidays.

Dried Floral Wreaths

Our dried floral wreaths begin long before winter arrives. All season, we gather flowers at their peak and hang them to dry naturally in the barn. Once dried, their colors soften into warm, earthy tones and their textures take on new life.

Each wreath is arranged entirely by hand, using stems grown here on the farm—no dyes, no artificial materials, just nature preserved at its best. No two wreaths are ever the same, and every one reflects the harvest from our fields.

These wreaths make thoughtful gifts and add a timeless, natural touch to winter homes.

Evergreen Centerpieces

Evergreen season is always a favorite. Using freshly cut pine, cedar, and fir, we build centerpieces that bring brightness and fragrance to holiday tables. We often add touches of our dried blooms to give each arrangement a little color and character.

Each centerpiece is arranged in a wooden box and finished with winter ribbon—simple, fragrant, and made to last through the season. These are crafted in small batches and available for pickup locally.

Dried Floral Ornaments

Our dried floral and feather ornaments are made using the same thoughtfully gathered blooms and feathers we use for our wreaths. Each ornament is filled with naturally dried flowers, grasses, feathers, and textures from the farm—no dyes or artificial materials.

Delicate, simple, and one-of-a-kind, they capture a small piece of the season in a way that feels warm and timeless. These ornaments make meaningful gifts, add a natural touch to holiday décor, and bring the beauty of the farm into your home in a small but special way.

Farm-Inspired Apparel

This season, we’ve expanded our offerings with a full line of Honeydew Farm apparel and accessories—soft tees and sweatshirts, tote bags, hats, drinkware, and other everyday pieces inspired by life on the farm. Each design reflects the simple beauty of the seasons, featuring hand-drawn vegetables, farm sayings, and nature-inspired artwork that celebrate the land and the work we do here.

Apparel is printed to order, allowing us to offer more sizes and new designs throughout the winter.
