Park Rapids Farmers Market Season Begins at Honeydew Farm

Market season is almost here, and we're looking forward to returning to familiar faces, fresh conversations, and another season of growing and sharing with our community.
The first Park Rapids Farmers Market of the season takes place on May 23, and Honeydew Farm will once again be setting up our booth and bringing the farm to town.
A few weeks later, we'll also return to the Walker Farmers Market, which opens on June 4.
As we prepare for another season, we're busy tending seedlings, planning our growing spaces, and getting ready for the months ahead.
Returning to the Park Rapids Farmers Market
The Park Rapids Farmers Market marks the beginning of a season that we look forward to every year.
Farmers markets provide an opportunity to connect directly with the people who support local farms. They allow us to share what we're growing, answer questions, and be part of a community built around local food and local businesses.
Whether you're a longtime customer or visiting for the first time, we're excited to see you there.
What You'll Find at Our Booth
Opening day at the Park Rapids Farmers Market is almost here, and we're excited to bring a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower starts to market.
This week's selection includes tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, kale, basil, parsley, dill, lemongrass, and more. Whether you're planting your first garden or adding a few favorites to your existing beds, we'll have a variety of starts ready for the season ahead.
You can find us near the music tent, across from Thielen Motors. Be sure to stop by and say hello—we're looking forward to seeing many of our market friends again and meeting new faces throughout the season.
Preparing for the Growing Season
While market season officially begins this week, much of the work has been happening for months.
Spring on the farm has been filled with planning, planting, and preparing for the growing season ahead. Every tray of seedlings and every row prepared in the field is part of the work that makes market season possible.
As the weeks progress, the farm will continue to change and grow, bringing new vegetables, flowers, and seasonal offerings throughout the summer.
Looking Ahead to Walker
After opening day in Park Rapids, we'll also return to the Walker Farmers Market beginning June 4.
The Walker market has become another important part of our growing season, and we're excited to once again share what we're growing with the community there.
