As we launch into our second season growing in a high tunnel here at Honeydew Farm, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped make it a reality for us!! We could not have done it without all the time and energy that our friends and family so graciously poured into the project!

The ribs to the tunnel were given to us by Amber's grandparents. They owned Park Rapids Floral years ago and took the tunnels down and stacked the pieces behind their barn in 1974! The pieces had been there so long that there were trees grown over them. With grandpa's help and some chainsaw work we were able to extract almost all of them. The rest of the parts we fabricated from reclaimed materials from the farm. With all the help we were able to complete the whole project from mostly reclaimed materials and so we named it Stone Soup.
It has been a really exciting journey learning to grow in the tunnel. Lots of successes and failures. Lots of lessons learned.
